LeBron made his last decision. As a Sixers fan, I'll take it.

I'll be transparent: I'm a Sixers fan. I've been one since Sam Hinkie was my neighbor in Philadelphia and was building the Process. I'm also the father of a son who works for the Cleveland Cavaliers organization.

So I had a lot riding on where LeBron James was going.

He chose Philadelphia. Two years, $8 million. His words: "This is my last decision."

And honestly? When you look at it clearly, he did exactly what he said he was going to do — take his time and find the place that gives him the best chance at a fifth championship. Maxey and Edgecombe in the backcourt. Embiid when healthy. And now Jaylen Brown, who was an MVP candidate last year. Compare that four to what Cleveland, Miami, Golden State, or Minnesota had to offer.

It's not even close. Today I'm breaking down why Philadelphia was the right call — and why the new GM who made it happen deserves a lot of credit.
