Hey guys, welcome to the Daily Dose. It is Friday, September 5th, 2025. The NFL started last night, as you know—the Philadelphia Eagles played.

Close game. I made fun about Micah and the lack of power pass rush, and I tweeted out that the Cowboys should trade for Micah Parsons. How about that?

I think the Cowboys played really well. They acquitted themselves well. They seemed to cover everything on defense. They played well on offense—except for Jalen Hurts.

I'm amazed that Jalen Hurts is not included among the top quarterbacks. All he does is win. He's incredibly hard to sack. He's strong. Besides the tush-push, he offers so much more. We saw that last night. He won that game.

But today, I want to talk about an NBA salary cap issue. It's been rattling around the news the past couple days. Stay with me here.
