From Dallas: Micah Returns, Giants Blink, and Wilson Wobbles

Welcome to the Sunday 7…

Greetings from Dallas, where I am attending Micah Parsons’ return tonight as the Packers visit the Cowboys.  I usually see one Packers game a year in person, and when the trade happened, I circled this as the one. So I’ll be there, along with at least 20,000 other Packers fans.

I discuss the Giants’ promotion of a first-round quarterback, as always happens early in their rookie season, and the continued descent of Russell Wilson. I look at a sad CTE case, as the NFL continues to try to make a violent game safer.  Two college coaching mainstays are out, for different reasons, and the Berlin Marathon makes an appearance.
