This past week featured the annual gathering of NFL owners, a sun-soaked meeting that I attended for nine years, and owners prepare for battle with their referees, created new inventory to sell to media, gave a Super Bowl to the country’s Mecca of gambling, and went all-in on flag football.  I discuss, along with a talent/tolerance equation story.  But I start with an all-time winner in the game off the field.
