NFL returns with scams, spit, and strange rules

One billionaire NBA owner claims he was duped. NFL front offices ramp up. Brady’s broadcast rules raise eyebrows. Football is back, but not without drama.

Welcome to the Sunday 7 (actually Sunday 8, but who’s counting)…

Before getting to several items surrounding the start of the NFL season, a developing story concerns one of the richest men in the world, also an NBA owner, saying he was scammed in defense of being accused of Salary Cap circumvention.  Hmmm.  Also, I look at what NFL front offices do now, the “spit” heard round the country on Thursday night, another partial NFL franchise sale, an expanding list of NFL sponsors, and the silly Tom Brady broadcast rules.
